Juliana Zepka is a French-Brazilian artist. She lives and works between Paris and Sens.
Her work explores the material, spectral, spatiotemporal, and political dimensions of the concept of the archive. She is currently pursuing a PhD at Paris 8, on “anarchiving” practices, that she describes as an artistic exploration of new methodologies for representing, narrating, and materializing archival objects and sites. She co-organises the seminar “Seeing History? Images That Depict the Past” at the National Institute of Art History (INHA). She also works on request to create visual content (graphics, web design, video) for artists, cultural institutions and associations.
